A seven-week series on the pottery wheel designed for those with some experience ~ led by Andrea D’Angelo
Over the seven weeks, we’ll cover the foundations of wheel throwing — including wedging, centering, pulling walls, shaping, trimming, and glazing pots. You’ll get 4 opportunities to throw on the pottery wheel, each time focusing on a new tableware piece (mugs, bowls, blates, plates) — the other classes are for trimming and glazing. Instruction is tailored to each student, with demonstrations and individual guidance yet also time and space to explore and do your own thing.
On class 6 we potluck :)
Some experience recommended. Come with an open mind, be ready to get your hands dirty, and leave with new skills and a collection of handmade pieces.
Because our classes are structured as a six-week series, each class builds on the previous one and spots are reserved for the full duration of the series.
If you are unable to attend a class, we are not able to offer refunds, credits, or make-up classes for missed sessions unfortunately. We encourage you to prioritize your class time and let us know if you’ll be away so we can help you stay on track when you return.
In some cases, if space allows, we may be able to arrange a make-up session, though please note that make-up sessions are not guaranteed and are offered at the studio’s discretion based on availability.
Full payment is required to reserve your spot in a series. Class fees are non-refundable once the series begins.
If you need to cancel before the series starts, please contact us as soon as possible. Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on the timing of the cancellation and whether we are able to fill your spot.
